Maralto’s Compliance Department is responsible for establishing compliance policies, monitoring, and acting in situations that may jeopardize the enterprise’s ethics, integrity, and safety.
The Company’s Ethics Committee is in charge of this area and meets to investigate the situations reported to the whistleblowing channel or any other situation that may require an intervention. The guidelines governing the Terminal’s actions include Anti-Corruption, Gifts and Entertainment, Supplier Evaluation, and Privacy and Data Protection policies, in addition to Conduct & Ethics and Disciplinary Measures and Procedures codes.
Maralto’s open channel allows anyone to contact us and report suspicious situations or behaviors that violate our ethics codes, the project’s internal policies, or the legislation in force.
Reports can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the link below. Confidentiality is ensured, and the allegations are examined by the Company’s Ethics Committee, the body in charge of investigating complaints and taking the necessary measures following the Disciplinary Measures and Procedures in place.

Click here to learn more about Law 13,709 of August 14, 2018, which provides for the processing of personal data, including in digital media, by organizations.
In addition to establishing guidelines on how this data should be collected and handled, the law mandates that companies have someone dedicated to being a communication channel between the organization, the data subjects, and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD). Among other functions, the Data Protection Officer (DPO) receives complaints and communications from data subjects, provides clarifications and adopts measures for each case.
Maralto’s DPO is Roberta Vaz, and he can be contacted at the e-mail address dpo@maraltoterminal.com.
